What if I do genocide before pacifist?
If you play the genocide ending you will never be allowed to get the true pacifist ending on that copy/account ever again. Each time you do a pacifist run after the first time you do genocide the game will end with a sinister cutscene implying you'll kill everyone anyway.
Destroying the Dummy does not abort the attempt at the True Pacifist Route and neither talking, nor fleeing, nor boring the Dummy aborts the Genocide Route attempt. If the protagonist talks to the Dummy, Toriel congratulates them.
Yes, genocide runs are pretty much objectively more difficult than pacifist runs for several reasons. Firstly it means bosses aren't gonna help you later. A lot of the bonuses from sparing bosses are significantly better than the rewards you get from killing them.
After a genocide run, you sell your soul to do another run. The world is erased again after a second genocide run.
What happens if you do pacifist twice? If you do a True Reset, the following Pacifist run will be exactly the same. However, that's only if you've obtained the True Pacifist ending.
We'd strongly recommend you complete Undertale on Pacifist before taking on a Genocide run as it will have some subtle effects on any future playthroughs you make. On this page: How to play a Genocide run in Undertale. How to beat Sans in an Undertale Genocide run.
After finishing a Genocide run, you'll notice the change in the Pacifist run when you do it again, but only at the very end of the run. Even a True Reset can't erase that. Basically there's no turning back after you've completed a Genocide run. The only way to "undo" those consequences is by erasing your file manually.
You will need to have murdered 20 creatures. After you've met the quota the next random encounter will look like this, with the text "But nobody came." Head back to the branching room and exit north where you'll reunite with Toriel who will take you to her home.
Just wait for about 10 minutes and Chara, the one who killed you at the very end, will return, and will start taking to you again. Say you are above consequences and give them your SOUL. Then the game will reset entirely.

Can you spare sans in a genocide run?
You can't spare Sans in game, although you can skip past his bossfight, which, in a way, is sparing sans because you aren't killing him.
If the protagonist spared him, he appears in the beginning of the Ruins again and advises them on what to do. If the protagonist gained EXP, he reminds them not to kill anyone. If the protagonist gained no EXP, he reminds them to befriend everyone.
Monster Kid is not seen again for the rest of the game; it is assumed they evacuated with the others. If the protagonist spares Monster Kid, they exclaim the protagonist wasn't particularly bad. This action aborts the Genocide Route, and the protagonist fights Undyne later in Waterfall normally.
Does FIGHTing ruin pacifist? you are still on a pacifist run if you fight. as long as you don't kill the opponent it's completely fine.
Resetting after True Pacifist wipes all memories (including Flowey's) and deja vu (Toriel knowing your pie choice, Undyne knowing you as a friend, etc). Resetting after a neutral (including all branches of neutral-pacifist) doesn't, and causes the faint memories.
If you reset in-game, you just have to not kill any monsters and do the date bits with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. You don't even need to go up the elevator to New Home until after the True Lab.
What happens if you name your Undertale character Frisk? Naming the fallen child 'Frisk' enables hard mode, however the run ends after the boss fight with Toriel as the developer, Toby Fox, never got around to finishing hard mode.
In the Genocide Route, Glad Dummy can be killed or spared immediately. Performing other actions (missing attacks, checking, or using items) for eight consecutive turns causes Glad Dummy to get bored and float away. Sparing or boring Glad Dummy aborts the Genocide Route.
Killing every creature and also purposefully triggering every random encounter to kill those creatures as well will get you the genocide ending. Doing this will permanently taint your save file, even for future playthroughs.
The reason why they became pure evil is fairly simple. When they died, their soul was taken by Asriel, removed from their body. Their body was eventually taken to the ruins and buried under the golden flowers, but their soul wasn't. This left them without a soul, and without compassion, like Flowey was.
What is the soulless pacifist ending?
Soulless Pacifist occurs when attempt to do the True Pacifist run but you have already completed the Genocide run. The only changes are in the very last scene after you chose to either stay with Toriel or go somewhere else. While lying in their bed Frisk wakes up and makes the =) face with their eyes being red.
If you include every possible variation of the True Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide endings, there are a total of 93 possible endings. Most of them are variants of the Neutral ending, which has a bunch of different possible things said in the phone call depending on what you do through the game.
He doesn't yield any exp IIRC, so he can just be ignored. Jerry yields 1 EXP, so killing him will prevent you from earning a Pacifist runthrough.
Destroying the Dummy does not abort the attempt at the True Pacifist Route and neither talking, nor fleeing, nor boring the Dummy aborts the Genocide Route attempt. If the protagonist talks to the Dummy, Toriel congratulates them. Mad Dummy is infuriated about the "horrible" things the protagonist said.
The genocide route in Undertale can be as difficult as it is emotionally devastating without a bit of knowledge going in.
