Sample declination letter to sponsorship

Thank you for your letter offering to sponsor our event. I have received your letter dated 4th March, 2014 with your kind job offer to sponsor our event.

I sincerely appreciate the consideration you have given us and am complimented that you wished to make me such an attractive offer.

With great regret we inform you that Abc Ltd is unable to accept you proposal for sponsorship as we have already accepted sponsorship from another brand. Due to the delayed sponsorship offer from your end we had no option but you accept another sponsorship offer. As you know that planning and organizing an event of such huge caliber, important things such as sponsorship cannot be delayed.

However, we would like to keep your company open for possible collaborations for future events Thank you for your kind understanding on our decline. We Look forward to opportunities for future collaborations.

We recently received your request for donations to local college sport foundation. We understand the importance of sports and its role in youth development .At the same time we will like to inform you that this year due to downturn in the economy our sales have declined which has effected our profitability and hence we have to stopped our corporate donations as we have already reached our donation limit for this fiscal year.

We would like to inform you that the company has declined your request this year because all of our company's charitable resources went to drought prone victims in the Vidharba region of Maharashtra. Please contact us again early next year as we will be in better position to consider your request.

We wish you our sincerest wishes for success.
