Domestic Travel Insurance (2024)

Cover for your NZ adventures

Great Kiwi adventures deserve insuring too. Whether you’re hitting the road with a caravan in tow or attending that family reunion, don’t forget to look at your cover options.

We’ve kept things simple, with two plans to choose from. The AA Domestic Travel Insurance Comprehensive plan provides our highest level of protection against unexpected expenses like rental vehicle excess, flight cancellation fees and stolen or damaged baggage that could otherwise leave you out of pocket. There’s also an option to select a no excess plan, and to apply for pre-existing medical conditions cover.Plus, there’s cover for epidemics and pandemics (like COVID-19) in some cases^.

There is also a lower premium Cancellation Only plan that covers a situation where you’re forced to reschedule or cancel your trip before you go.

No matter which plan you choose, you’ll find the application process is quick and simple, so you can get back to much more exciting things – like booking that winery lunch, or bikes for a cycle trip.
