co*ckroach feces are easy to identify. Droppings from small co*ckroaches resemble ground coffee or black pepper. Larger roaches leave behind dark, cylindrical droppings with blunt ends and ridges down the side.

Both mouse poop and roach poop are medium to dark brown in color. Mouse poop is about the size and shape of dried grains of rice, and poop from bigger roaches can be almost as big as mouse poop. But a key difference between them is that mouse poop is pointed and pinched off at the ends.

This waste can be found on floors or stuck to walls. One dropping is only a mere 4mm long. If all roaches left was one dropping, you'd have a hard time finding their excrement. Fortunately, and very very unfortunately, they leave a lot of excrement lying around for you to find.

Large co*ckroaches excrete large droppings, usually an inch long. The droppings are cylindrical and solid. If you take the time to look at the droppings closely, you will notice ridges running from one end to the other, making it look like fennel seed.

If you have only a few roaches, you won't see their poop. If you see small deposits of it, or notice an unusual odor, large numbers of co*ckroaches are moving through your abode.

Typically, co*ckroach droppings are dark brown or black in color, have a waxy texture, and can smear like a thick film. Depending on what type of species you are dealing with, roach frass can be as large as a grain of rice or look more like spilled coffee grounds.

In general, roach droppings look like little black or dark brown pellets, very similar in appearance to coffee grounds or crushed pepper. When fresh, these pellets are usually round or oval and, unlike coffee grounds or pepper, these pellets stick to surfaces and might smear.

Besides actually seeing the pests, droppings may be the most obvious sign of an infestation.
