Incredibly good looking and even better to surf, we are stoked to bring you the SALT Mid. A beautiful crafted mid length that has been fine-tuned to provide a balanced gliding ride in all conditions.

You can compare this directly with similar boards on the market such as the Channel Islands Mid or Mark Phipps One Bad Egg. The SALT Mid gives you a traditional shaped and designed surfboard that provides everything you want for a mid length. Paddle speed, mixed with early wave entry and a reliable, active board under foot.

Set up as a 2+1 fin configuration, the fins provide speed and drive with hold and stability too. SALT's Mid retains all the joys you would ever want in a mid-length. Wide point forward of centre, fast paddling, getting into waves early and allowing the ability to drawn creative lives on the wave face.

A Mid Length of this ilk is an ideal choice for a wide range of surfers and abilities. From transitioning beginners all the way to seasoned, advanced surfers, the SALT Mid will fill you will stoke. Any surfer should make space in their quiver for a mid-length that surfs and looks as good as this one!

The SALT boards really have a high end, luxury look and feel to them and the quality of the construction and the finish backs this up too. You will have heads turning in your local car park when people get their eyes on this beautiful surfboard.

The glassing is 6+4/6oz so you not only get the finish and looks of a dream board, but the glassing will hold up to the day-to-day tolls of surfing. This glassing schedule is ideal for a midlength and will help the board stay looking newer for longer too.

Excellent Mid Length

I recently bought this as a "step down" from my heavier volume 7'6". It paddles like a dream, duck-dives nicely and catches anything over 2 foot. It's got a nice taper so it's much easier to get out the back in bigger surf than my larger board.
The fin setup give it a nice glide to turn and it feels very much like a long shortboard. Perfect for the heavier rider like myself, who is looking for a bit of performance and at this price, it's a steal.
