Single Plants: 15cm (5") each way (minimum)
Rows: 10cm (3") with 20cm (7") row gap (minimum)
Sow and Plant
Sow direct into the soil from early spring onwards or under cover for an earlier sowing in mid-late winter. Can also sow in early autumn for a winter crop.

Notes
An easy salad crop that doubles as a cooked green. Flower buds are also edible. Hot weather causes leaves to become very strongly flavored.
Harvesting
Harvest in small batches as required. Once it flowers the leaves become tougher and hotter in taste.
Troubleshooting
Flea beetles sometimes make small holes in leaves.
