Larval Tear is a unique resource in Elden Ring. If you give it to Rennala, Queen of the Moon (when she's an NPC), you can respec your character. Larval Tears are exceedingly rare and can either be bought from very hidden merchants, found on bodies in secret locations, or from defeating certain types of Mimics.

Total amount of larva tears in a new game is fixed. 18. But then, only the indecisive would respec so many times.

There is one Larval Tear to find in Limgrave. It's near the Agheel Lake South site of grace.

Larval Tears are rare but invaluable items in Elden Ring that allow you to re-spec your attributes and try out new builds. With only 18 available locations, tracking down their locations takes effort.

Where To Purchase Larval Tears. There are two Larval Tears available for purchase in the game: The first is available from Pidia, a merchant that you can find inside Caria Manor. To reach Pidia, you need to first complete the area, beating Royal Knight Loretta.

Radagon is surprisingly weak to fire damage, and any flame-based attacks, skills, and spells can very quickly dispatch him. Popular weapons like Blasphemous Blade and the Sword of Night and Flame work great for this, as do fire Incantations and Sorceries. Use any of these to deal huge chunks of damage to Radagon.

What happens if you give back a Larval Tear? ›

If you instead choose the option to give Boc a Larval Tear, he will express his thanks, that he may now be reborn through Rennala.

However, it is crucial to note that there is a limited number of Larval Tears available in any one playthrough of Elden Ring. In total, there are only 18 Larval Tears to be found in the Lands Between, although any spares can be carried over into a New Game Plus.
