Autoflower cannabis average time from seed to harvest

The average time it takes for anautoflower seed to grow and reach harvest is around 75 days. This can partly depend on the specific phenotype as well as environmental conditions.

When compared to a typical photo-dependent feminised (or regular) strain this is a huge time saving. With 5-6 weeks of vegetative growth and around 9 weeks of bloom it can take 15 weeks or more for a feminised strain to reach harvest.

That’s almost twice as long as a crop of fast autoflowers. Anyone interested in reading more about the fastest photoperiod and autoflower strains may find the following interesting.

Seed to harvest time vs flowering time for cannabis

How long do autoflowers take from seed to harvest? (37)

The seed to harvest time is a guide for growers, showing the likely time it will take to complete a full autoflower grow cycle. Just like feminised cannabis seeds, autoflower seeds will produce a range of phenotypes. Some will be faster than others to reach harvest.

Cool grow room temperatures will slow down the growth and bloom, so ensure your grow room conditions are optimised. Note that outdoors, most auto strains will take an extra few weeks to finish compared to indoors.

Hey @ Marcia 2021-06-16 21:52:06If you do not have any idea what strain it could be or where it comes from it is really difficult to determine what strain it is.You can look at some traits of the plants and compare this with certain indica's and sativa's to get a clue!Greetings,JayDutch Passion

Hello @ Susan Moon 2021-05-12 15:21:30That is quite an impressive height you have reached last year. We would love to see some pictures :)For autoflowers it is important to not train/stress them to much so we advice against pinching the flowers. Additionally, to improve the growth you should germinate the seeds in big pots, you should not start with a small plant pot because this will slow down root growth and will influence your total grow.Greetings,JayDutch Passion
