Can I hand paint my car? I have an old car that I rarely use and I want to try my hand at hand-painting a car. Is it actually possible to paint a car with a brush and if so, how?

Kudos to you for wanting to take on such a cool project! I’m happy to say that you can absolutely paint a car with a brush! Here’s what you’ll need:
Drop cloth
Masking tape
Mixing cups
Paintbrush
Paint Tray
Power sander
Here’s what to do:
Put on your safety gear, then remove the headlights and taillights.
Use a power sander to remove old paint from your car. Use smaller pieces of sandpaper to get hard-to-reach areas.
Rinse all the sanded areas down, then cover all areas you don’t want to get paint on with masking tape.
Mix 50% Rustoleum paint with 50% mineral spirits, then apply thin coats to your car. Wait 30 minutes in between coats for best results.
Check your paint job after it’s fully dried for imperfections. You can smooth them out with a wet sander.
Reinstall your lights and you’re ready to go!
