Home Emergency Cover
In your hour of need, we will arrange for an emergency call-out to your home to carry out repairs, up tothe value of£500. For example, if a pipe bursts, we will locate and dispatch a plumber or if your external doors or windows are damaged due to a break in, we will organise for someone to render the property safe and secure.
Benefits include:
- Cover for heating system failure, roof damage, burst pipes, plumbing issues, property damage and loss of keys.
- Overnight accommodation in the event your property becomes uninhabitable, up tothe value of£250.
- 24/7 Emergency Assistance Helpline.
- Up to 4 callouts per year.

KeyCare
Many home insurance policies already cover an element of Keycare, such as replacing keys broken in your lock but what about when you lose your keys?
Keycare cover means you can avoid the stress and frustration of replacing lost keys and all the hassle that goes with it.
We offer two levels of Keycare cover.
Keycare
Key Features and Benefits:*
- Up to £1,500 annual cover for lost and stolen keys, replacement locks and any call out charges.
- Cover for locksmith charges if keys are locked in your car or home with a cover limit of £1,500.
- Should a key break in a lock, Keycare will pay up to £100 towards locksmiths’ costs.
- Keycare will pay up to £100 for onward transport costs to get you to your home or chosen destination in the event the loss or theft of your keys.
- If your vehicle is left unusable due to the loss or theft of keys, Keycare will pay up to £50 a day for three days vehicle hire.
- Emergency helpline 24 hour, 365 days a year.
- No excess to pay.
- Your No Claims Discount will NOT be affected.
- Keycare will pay the finder of keys a £10 reward.
- We have access to a nationwide network of locksmiths.
- Covers ALL the keys attached to the special fob (for example, car keys, house keys, office or caravan).

Keycare SmartFob
Keycare SmartFob has all the same benefits as above, but includes a Bluetooth LE sensor fob for your keyring that helps to retrieve your keys through the SmartFob smartphone app (note: this is not a GPS tracker).
- Ring your keys by tapping the SmartFob icon on your screen
- Call your phone by holding the button on your SmartFob.
- The app automatically creates and displays a GPS time-stamp when your SmartFob is out of range.
- Key Cover: If your SmartFob is insured through an active cover, the finder of your keys can get a reward

Legal Protection
Legal Protection meansyou always have immediate access to legally qualified staffviaour 24-hour helpline giving you the advice you need.
Should you wish to make a legal claim, itoffers you and anyone living with you, up to £50,000 per claim for legal costs relating to your homebe that as a result ofpersonal injuryorfaulty workmanship.
Benefits* include:
- Covers you up to £50,000 for any one claim.
- Covers personal injury, property infringement, property damage, faulty goods and workmanship.
- Covers you and any member of your family permanently living with you.

Gadget Insurance £54
Gadget insurance covers the cost of repairing or replacing your favourite everyday gadgets if they are lost, stolen or damaged.
Mobile phones including iPhones, tablets including iPads, GoPros, cameras, smartwatches, game consoles and laptops are all covered under this policy add on.

- Your No Claims Discount will NOT be affected.
- Cover provided for up to 2 claims per year.

If you have buildings and contents insurance, you will be able to transfer the cover to your new home. However as insurance premiums are based on where you live and what type of house you have, we will have to recalculate your new premium. Therefore, it is imperative to get in contact with us.
2. What does Trace and Access mean?
If you have a leak, finding the source of it can be very difficult, disruptive and expensive. If you have “Trace and Access” included within your home insurance policy we will send someone out to investigate, covering the cost of finding exactly where the leak is.
3. What are the key points to consider when making a home insurance claim?
- If you’re burgled, call the police for a crime reference number.
- Next, ring your insurer to submit a claim.
- Take photos as evidence.
- If repairs aren’t urgent, make sure your insurer agrees to any work before getting it done
