Entertainment generally means the attendance by you and your hosts or guests at a meal, sporting event, theater production, or comparable event and also might include travel to, or accommodation expenses at, a conference or an out-of-town event.
Adult entertainment means any exhibition of any adult-oriented: motion pictures, live performance, computer or CD Rom generated images, displays of adult-oriented images or performances derived or taken from the internet, displays or dance of any type, which has a substantial portion of such performance any actual or simulated performance of specified sexual activities or exhibition and viewing of specified anatomical areas, removal or partial removal of articles of clothing or appearing unclothed, pantomime, modeling, or any other personal service offered customers.
Place of entertainment means a public or private entertainment facility, such as a stadium, arena, racetrack, museum, amusem*nt park, or other place where performances, concerts, exhibits, athletic games, or contests are held, for which an entry fee is charged, to which the public is invited to observe, and for which tickets are sold. "Place of entertainment" does not include a ski area.
Adult entertainment establishment means any of the following:
Lodging means living accommodations available to the employee for full-time occupancy which are adequate, decent, and sanitary according to usual and customary standards. Employees shall not be required to share a bed.
Sexually oriented entertainer means a person who while in a state of seminudity appears at or performs:
Gifts means, for purposes of this Policy, money, advances, personal services, gratuities, loans, extensions of credit, forgiveness of debts, memberships, subscriptions, travel, meals, charitable donations, refreshments, hospitality, promises, discounts or forbearance that are not generally available to members of the public. A Gift need not be intended to influence or reward an Employee.
Professional entertainer means a person who performs services in the professional performing arts for wages or other remuneration on a per-event basis.
Meals means, for a mixed beverage license, an assortment of foods commonly ordered in bona
the Employment, Skills and Enterprise Scheme means a scheme under section 17A (schemes for assisting persons to obtain employment: “work for your benefit” schemes etc.) of the Jobseekers Act 1995 known by that name and provided pursuant to arrangements made by the Secretary of State that is designed to assist claimants for job-seekers allowance to obtain employment, including self- employment, and which may include for any individual work-related activity (including work experience or job search);
Travel means any expenditure directly incident to official travel by employees and officers of the Village or by wards or charges of the Village involving reimbursem*nt to travelers or direct payment to private agencies providing transportation or related services.
Microenterprise means an enterprise which employs fewer than 10 persons and whose annual turnover and/ or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 2 million as defined in Article 1 and Article 2(1) and (3) of the Annex to Recommendation 2003/361/EC as may be amended from time to time;
Tourism promotion means activities and expenditures designed to increase tourism, including but not limited to advertising, publicizing, or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of attracting and welcoming tourists; developing strategies to expand tourism; operating tourism promotion agencies; and funding marketing of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists.
Business enterprise means a firm, sole proprietorship, partnership, association, corporation, company, or other business entity of any kind including, but not limited to, a limited liability corporation, incorporated professional association, joint venture, estate, or trust.
Social Enterprise means a business that: (i) is owned by a non-profit organization or community services co-operative; (ii) is directly involved in the production and/or selling of goods and services for the combined purpose of generating income and achieving social, cultural, and/or environmental aims; and (iii) has a defined social and/or environmental mandate.
Small Business Enterprise means, as MCC 2-92-670 may be updated from time to time, a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, pursuant to the business size standards found in 13 C.F.R. Part 121, relevant to the scope(s) of work the firm seeks to perform on city contracts. A firm is not an eligible small business enterprise in any city fiscal year in which its gross receipts, averaged over the firm's previous five fiscal years, exceed the size standards of 13 C.F.R. Part 121.
Tuition means the total amount of money charged for the cost of a qualifying student to attend an independent school including, but not limited to, fees for attending the school and school-related transportation.
Enterprises means CMS Enterprises Company, a Michigan corporation and wholly-owned subsidiary of the Issuer.
Promotion means a change from an employee's position to one with a higher maximum salary level.
Promotores means individuals who are members of the community who function as natural 10 helpers to address some of their communities’ unmet mental health, health and human service needs.
Micro-enterprise means an enterprise, which at the time of conclusion of the payment service contract, is an enterprise as defined in Article 1 and Article 2(1) and (3) of the Annex to Recommendation 2003/361/EC in the version of 6 May 2003;
Hotels means the hotel properties described in Exhibit A hereto, as it may be amended from time to time by mutual agreement of Lessee and Operator to add hotel properties or to delete hotel properties as a result of termination of this Agreement with respect to one or more hotel properties pursuant to the termination provisions set forth in this Agreement. “Hotel” shall mean any hotel set forth on Exhibit A as it may be amended from time to time.
Parks means the parks or green spaces named in the Application "Parties" means the Authority and the Licensee
Entertainer means any person who provides entertainment within an adult-oriented establishment as defined in this section, whether or not a fee is charged or accepted for entertainment and whether or not entertainment is provided as an employee or an independent contractor.
