The way businesses operate and provide a positive customer experience has changed drastically across all industries, including banking, travel, entertainment, hospitality, and the majority of others.

The delivery of learning in a hybrid model (physical + virtual) has greatly advanced over the past few years in the field of education as well, and this development has altered perceptions of how education is delivered in schools in India. With NEP 2020 now in the picture, the educational ecosystem, particularly the curriculum, is about to undergo a significant change.

In this news, we’ll concentrate on three crucial elements that, over time, will completely change the curriculum:

Including Technology in the Curriculum at Schools

It would be revolutionary to deliver learning in an engaging way using technology as both a “skill” and a “facilitator.”

  • By converting physical classrooms into digital ones, technology can help students learn more effectively while also benefiting all of the important stakeholders.
  • Access to information and study materials will be available to students whenever and wherever they want, ensuring that learning is not limited to the classroom. Additionally, utilizing technology will promote fun learning methods like gamification, virtual simulations, and videos that will increase students’ interest in, curiosity about, and retention of important ideas.
  • Over a device (Mobile/Tablet), teachers will have access to all the necessary resources, lesson plans, preparation materials, and personalized information about a student’s learning progress, allowing them to customize their teaching style.
  • School leaders can view the performance and progress for a specific grade, subject, student, or skill with a single click, allowing them to make educated decisions to further improve the learning experience and proactively take any necessary corrective or improvement actions.
  • It would not just be PTMs and test results that parents would need to know about their child’s progress. They can always keep up with their child’s activities, projects, updates, and progress by using a personalized app.
  • Technology as a skill – NEP’s emphasis on teaching coding and increasing exposure to technology at a young age will go a long way in assisting students in opening up a new world of innovation and creativity. It will also assist students in developing analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as exposure to real-life situations, to resolve problems in a variety of fields. Students who have a strong foundation in coding from their early years will find it much simpler to become accustomed to cutting-edge technology, preparing them for the future.

Activity-Based Education

Reading and writing about swimming don’t teach you how to swim. By entering the water, you can learn it.
