Before I start, I want to put the disclaimer. This is a rant, but I will try to keep it as respectful as I can, But note this is my own personal opinion.

-------

I know what you're thinking, why LadyMidnight, or if you've seen my profile, why Liz? We've already had to read your other Tamlin post and there are dozens of others.

And I acknowledge that. I'll try and keep this brief. Okay? Again, I'm sorry but I had to point this out. It was bugging me.

Soo, most of you, some of you, know that I didn't like ACOSF. It's probably my least favorite book of the series. I'm glad SJM went deeper with Nesta and Cassian, but she just had to beat a dead horse *cough* beast.

That's right. Tamlin. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

For those of you who don't know, in ACOSF Tamlin is said to have turned into his beast form and have gone crazy/wild. Preying on Lower Fae.

Great. Really helps Tamlin's imagine.

Seriously? We ended ACOWAR so nicely. Tamlin wished her happiness, he saved Rhys. Can we give the guy a break? But SJM decided to poke a hurt dog.

It doesn't even make sense. In ACOMAF, Tamlin doesn't break. Even though he'd gone through trauma, he didn't just give up. No. He worked to help his court. So I'd think that Tamlin would work to get his court back. Maybe that's just wishful thinking...

It was just poor planning. There are so many different Tamlins. There is the first one, the best, then the second one, the Tamlin that somewhat redeemed himself in ACOWAR, and now this Tamlin. The one who gave up.

Tamlin didn't give up in ACOTAR until Feyre was going to be in danger.

Now, if you have read all of this, here is a cookie. 🍪 No raisins. I promise this will be the last Tamlin post you see from me, er, not promise but hopefully wish. I know they get old. Quick.
