The A Court of Thorns and Roses series is by far one of the spiciest young adult series out there. I definitely went with a more “tame” quote for this one, but don't let it fool you! The series debut starts off strong with the steamy scenes and only increases in heat from there.

In the series, Tamlin hasn't done anything outrightly wrong towards Feyre. Yes, he was negligent about her traumas and never comforted her and also he never gave her independence in the spring court, after the war with Amarantha. But that doesn't mean he was a bad person overall.

The fantasy themes of the series will definitely appeal to teen readers who loved fairy tales and adventure stories growing up, though ACOTAR is more adult than Hans Christian Andersen. However, ACOTAR could be a good starting point for older teens.

I mean it is a good series indeed, but I've also read better ones for sure. But i really enjoyed it when i first read it so I would say it is totally worth reading if you are looking for some easy fantasy read with nice and fun characters, a quite complex magical world and a pretty interesting plot.
