This was a Christmas gift for my almost five year old grandson. He has recently become interested in saving money so he can go shopping! We presented this along with a collection of coins so he could see how it works right away. The size is nice and the construction seems excellent. The only thing we noticed is the counter has a drawback. If the child does not insert the coin smoothly it registers incorrectly. I gave the digi-piggy to my 3 year old nephew as a gift for his birthday. What a great gift for children to learn to save. My grand daughter loves her piggy and it allows the rest of the family to donate generously. Even great grandmother is saving her pennies for the piggie. We love the counter and the ample size to grow coins that grow into dollars. Purchased for a 3 year old. He loves adding coins and watching the numbers on the snout change. I wish the top and bottom screwed together more securely. There is also no way to adjust the total if coins are removed. There is a reset button to return the total to zero inside the piggy. It would be awesome if there were also buttons to adjust the total up and down.

This "Piggy Bank" is sturdy and the bottom is made of clear plastic so the kid can see his coins grow. My grandson loves to insert coin and shakes the bank. We are teaching him about money and this bank serves that purpose very well.

This is probably the best piggy bank I have ever seen! Not only is it big, but you can see the money you put it. My 5 year old collects change from around the house and gets excited everytime he puts his money in. Definitely going to buy this for my other son.
