For me, I see a distinction between a love triangle, and a person that experiences multiple loves in their lifetime.
Feyre was with Tamlin, then she left him, falls out of love with him, becomes friends with Rhysand, and eventually falls in love with him without ever wanting to go back to Tamlin or his suffocating court. To me that's not a love triangle.
When I think of love triangles, I see something ongoing, with someone caught in the middle, equally torn between two people, with both people given a good chance, before a decision is finally made.
Love triangles remind me of a swinging door, where a person may go from room to room, bouncing back and forth. Whereas when I think of multiple love interests, it's someone shutting one door completely before opening a new one. Which is what I felt like Feyre did here.
With Rhysand and Feyre being mates, with the way their relationship developed, with how Feyre literally wants to claw Tamlin's eyes out for bargaining with the king to let him tear down the human wall, with the king being responsible for turning her sisters.....
Even if you forget Rhysand for a second, forget she's High Lady of the Night Court and now has a family and home, I think Tamlin has crossed too many lines in her eyes.
Tam will hopefully redeem himself, but I think the Bone Carver has a better chance at being with Feyre than Tam does.
I mean it's totally fine for people to think it's a love triangle, because we all interpret love triangles a little differently. I myself don't even hate them. I just don't see this as one, at least in comparison to other series that feature love triangles. Maybe to some small degree there's a version of a triangle here, but I feel like it's resolved very early on, because Feyre doesn't really consider ever going back to Tamlin or Spring after she leaves and I don't see any chance of that happening.
I think Sarah said on Twitter she didn't consider it a love triangle, but I don't have the link. I'll have to hunt it down to confirm. Sorry this was so long. I'm tired and I tend to ramble when I'm tired. :P
