Flora gets tucked away one last time (Episode 9)
In the final episode, Flora is snatched up by the Lady of the Lake, who seeks a child to fill the void of her long-lost daughter. In a last-ditch effort, Ms. Jessel attempts to make Flora's impending death less painful by possessing her body a final time.
The night Quint convinces Rebecca to move to America with him, he encounters the Lady in the Lake, who kills him. After he returns to Rebecca as a ghost, he possesses her body and drowns her in the lake, so they can then take over Flora and Miles' bodies and start a new life.
After Jessel's death (murder? suicide?), her decisions become even more opaque, as viewers see her repeatedly take over Flora's body—a seemingly sinister act, out of character for the once caring nanny.
Miles was fully possessed by Peter for less than an hour while Dani was possessed by Viola for over a decade before she returned to the lake and drowned herself.
Flora is all of those things. She's a ghost that haunts Tookie, the story's protagonist.
And I have—we all have. As if Netflix knew a fact like this would go viral, the streaming platform tweeted on October 12 that Amelie Bea Smith, who plays Flora, is also the voice of Peppa Pig.

Father. Peter was likely physically and sexually abused by his father.
The relationship between Flora and Rebecca also indicates that ghosts have the ability to trigger dream hopping in the living, if the bond between the two is strong enough. Flora calls the experience being “tucked away” as her consciousness is swept from reality and engulfed by memories of the past.
To save Flora's life, Dani opens herself to possession by Viola and in doing so lifts the curse and ghosts of Bly Manor.

In the first episode, we see Miles and Flora lock Dani up in a closet. The nanny is obviously upset, but the audience later comes to understand the kids only did this to protect Dani from a ghost that roams the manor's halls after Dani failed to stay in her room after dark.
That's right: Flora and Miles don't remember their experiences at Bly. Miles and Flora have no idea they're the stars of Jamie's epic ghost story. For them, Jamie's story is an entrancing, if a bit grim, pre-wedding fable.
That's Flora, who's forgotten everything about her time at Bly Manor, and reacts to the story as though she's hearing it for the first time. The setup for this twist comes about halfway through the episode, when Dani and Jamie visit Owen at his bustling Paris bistro.
Why did Dani drown herself in Bly Manor?

Abigail and The Dudleys

But what's interesting is that when she - Carla Gugino's older Jamie - first appeared on screen in episode 1, she was wearing a gold necklace.
In the previous episodes, Hannah is beset by hallucinations of an inexplicably creepy crack. “Altar of the Dead” finally explains the crack's meaning: It's the last thing Hannah saw before she died. It is hard to make out exactly what she says, so in a recent interview, TVLine asked Miller what she whispered in the scene. "I can't remember," she responded with a laugh. "It was something like, something cheesy, like 'She'll always be there,' or 'I'm here. It's all right.

What did Peter Quint do to Miss Jessel?
We know that he seduced the unfortunate Miss Jessel (their class difference also contributes to this menace; Quint is a destroyer of young ladies), and that he spent far too much time alone with young Miles. Quint is described as handsome but dastardly, and he is seductive and frightening in equal measure.
Peter Quint and Miss Jessel
The specter of Peter Quint is the most obvious antagonist here. He's a kind of embodiment of evil itself; the Governess's descriptions of him make it clear that he emanates some sort of malevolent force.
