What is positive between blue and brown?
The blue wire also referred to as the neutral wire, has the function of transferring electricity away from the appliance. The brown wire, otherwise known as the live wire, transfers electricity to the appliance. The combination of these wires is referred to as a circuit.

The Brown wire represents Live. The Blue wire represents Neutral. The Green & Yellow wire represents Earth.
The blue wire (if present) is a phase 3 “hot” wire. The white wire is neutral. Neutral is distinct from ground in AC wiring. The green wire (if present) is the ground wire.

Positive (of a positive earthed) circuit | M | blue |
If you mix brown and blue paint, you'll likely end up with a dark blue color. However, this result can vary slightly depending on the type of brown and blue you select. No matter what blue you use, the result will end up looking a little darker or muddier after being mixed with brown.
o The BROWN wire should be connected to the vehicles positive (+) power source. o The BLUE wire should be connected to the vehicles negative (-) power source.
The positive current must be red. The negative current must be black. The ground wire, if present, must be white or grey.
International Electrical Code says: Blue = (+) and grey = (-).
A: Yellow is positive, blue is negative. With the 12v wall plug I used it's red to yellow, black to blue.
If we're talking about typical 110-120 volt AC wiring as commonly found in homes, shops, offices and so on, the black wire is “hot” and white wire is “neutral”. There is also a third wire, usually bare without its own insulation, which is a safety ground wire.
Which wire is for positive?
The positive wire, also commonly called the hot wire, will typically be black in color. It is the source of the electricity. The electrical current travels from the outlet or other power source on the positive wire, so if it is plugged in anywhere, it should be considered a live (and dangerous) wire.
In industrial applications in the U.S., sensors use a blue and brown wire to connect to a power supply. Blue is connected to the ground (or negative terminal), and brown is connected to the positive terminal (often +24 volts).

The live Red becomes Brown. The Neutral Black becomes Blue.
When you combine the primary color blue with the neutral color brown, you get either muddy brown or teal. If more blue is added to the combination, you will get a dark blue color, while adding more brown will lead to a muddy brown. But that's not all you need to know about mixing brown and blue.
Blue – Brown and blue tones work together as a study in contrast. Also, the bright and vibrant shades of blue will balance out the neutral background of brown. The shades of blue that work best with brown are navy blue, turquoise, and pale blue. Red – Red and brown both have warm and rich undertones.
The plug has markings inside to identify each pin: (L) = Live = Brown. (N) = Neutral = Blue. (E) = Earth = Yellow & Green.
A 14/3 NM Cable contains a bare copper wire and three conductor wires: one black, one white, one red. In a typical 3-way setup, the 14/3 cable runs from the first switch box to the second switch box.
Brown is positive. Probably best use it that way in your stereo. That way you cement in your mind what a brown wire is active, should you ever be dealing with this stuff using actual mains current.
- live wire ( Red colour)
- neutral wire(Black colour)
- earth wire (Green colour)
Blue = Neutral
The neutral wire colour is blue.
Is blue Colour positive or negative?
Every color has positive and negative traits. What is this? On one side, the blue color means loyalty, honesty, trust, responsibility, calm, commitment, wisdom, and serenity. But blue, the fifth color of the rainbow, can also mean conservatism, authority, depression, predictability, weakness, and old-fashioned.
Green (sometimes with a Yellow stripe) is the color of an earth ground in AC wiring, so we use this green color wire as Negative, which leaves White or Yellow color wire for the Positive connection.
Most often, warm colors (yellow, red, and orange) are considered to be positive, while cool colors (blue, green, and purple) are considered to be negative.
Yellow. Yellow symbolizes happiness and warmth in almost all cultures. It's the color that grabs users' attention more than any other color. McDonald's and IKEA both use yellow in their branding to give off the feeling of friendliness and positivity.
Each battery has two metal terminals. One is marked positive (+), the other negative (-). There are also positive and negative cables in the jumper cable set. The red one is positive (+), the black one is negative (-).
It is a color that inspires us to live our life to the fullest by developing a positive attitude that helps us go through difficult times. A combination of yellow and red, the color orange clubs together the passionate energy of red and the joyous nature of yellow.
In general, red wires are used to indicate positive voltage, while black wires are used to indicate negative voltage.
Throughout history, for many cultures and societies, black and white have stood as opposites: white the positive, pure light, black its negative counterpart.
Which side of a 2-prong plug is positive? Because we use A/C current, prongs don't have have a positive and negative. Instead, the two prongs have a 'hot' and 'neutral' side. The wider prong connects to the neutral wire and the smaller prong smaller prong is the hot side of the circuit.
Now, you might ask, is brown wire positive or negative? In general, the brown wire, called live wire, is a positive wire denoted as “L+” in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) DC power circuit wiring color codes.
Is brown positive or negative DC?
Positive (labeled as “L+”): Brown. Negative (labeled as “M“): Blue.
If both wires are used as phases or neutral then you can connect. But incase black is a phase then blue is neutral then don't.
Then, blue wires are most often used as travelers for three- or four-way switches (for instance, if you have switches at the top and bottom of a staircase that control the same light, that's a three-way switch).
Every light shade of blue works with all shades of brown (including dark chocolate brown). And all light browns go well with every shade of blue. A good example is a sky blue shirt with a khaki suit, or with a camel blazer, or with a brown tweed sports jacket.
BLUE. Intellectual. Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm. Negative: Coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.
The color blue has positive effects on the mind and the body. Blue can represent rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming and release feelings of tranquility. Blue is also cooling in nature and helps with balance and self-expression.

Pink symbolizes love and romance, caring, tenderness, acceptance and calm.
Happy colors are bright, warm colors like yellow, orange, pink and red. Pastel colors like peach, light pink or lilac can also have an uplifting effect on your mood. The brighter and lighter a color, the more happy and optimistic it will make you feel.
