What sin does Purple represent?
Orange represents gluttony because orange is an excessive color. Green is for envy because people are green with envy or jealously. I believe that the color purple represents pride because one of the meanings of purple is conceit which is excessive pride.
For example, envy is best represented by the colour green, which — in many cultures — is also the symbolic color of money.
What are the seven deadly sins? According to Roman Catholic theology, the seven deadly sins are the seven behaviours or feelings that inspire further sin. They are typically ordered as: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.
Red-green and yellow-blue are the so-called "forbidden colors." Composed of pairs of hues whose light frequencies automatically cancel each other out in the human eye, they're supposed to be impossible to see simultaneously. The limitation results from the way we perceive color in the first place.

In many cultures, black is thought to be unlucky and black cats, in particular, are said to bring bad luck to anyone that crosses their path. In China, white is generally seen as unlucky, while Brazil and Thailand consider purple to be a colour that can bring about misfortune to anyone who uses it outside of a funeral.
In the Cyclades, next to white color, the prevailing color is blue-turquoise color. The preference comes from an old belief of man, that the sky-blue shade had the power to keep Evil away.

Pride (superbia), also known as hubris (from Ancient Greek ὕβρις) or futility. It is considered the original and worst of the seven deadly sins on almost every list, the most demonic.
Why is sloth a sin?
Sloth is a sin against God's love in that it goes so far as to refuse the joy that comes from God and to be repelled by divine goodness. It is a loss of hope in ever achieving what God wants for us: our eternal happiness.
The strongest of the Seven Deadly Sins is Escanor, the lion's sin of pride.
