Items such as Guano, Manure, Rot, and Rotten Eggs can be used as fertilizers. When placed on the sprout in a Farm, fertilizers will advance its growth.

If a Gobbler jumps out of or into a barren Bush, the Bush will appear fertilized. Hovering over the Bush with Manure will display the "Fertilize" prompt. Upon reloading the world, it will become withered.

A Dragon Fruit is a rare Fruit that has a 5% chance to be grown from Farm plots by planting Seeds (or 4.75% Reign of Giants or 3.7% Shipwrecked). Dragon Fruits can also be produced by feeding a caged Bird a Dragon Fruit to receive 1-2 Dragon Fruit Seeds as well as a 50% chance to get a generic seed.
