How do you unlock paid stories on Wattpad without paying?
Tap the wallet on your profile to open the wallet. You can select a Coin pack from the Coin Shop or tap the Earn tab to watch videos and get Coins to unlock Paid Stories. When you earn Coins the balance in your wallet will be updated and you can use Coins to unlock Paid Stories wherever you use Wattpad.
- Go To Wattpad.
- Watch Ads to Earn coins.
- After watching 3 ads, close the Wattpad app, go to settings. Then look for 'Google'
- Go to Ads. Press the 'Reset Advertising ID' Notice that the Advertising ID changed.
- Open Wattpad and watch 3 ads again.
- Repeat.
Unlock each chapter when you're ready. Just click the [Unlock next part] button to redeem Coins, and keep reading.
In order to purchase coins, you will need to have an App Store or Google Play account. Coin pack purchases are not yet available on the Web version of Wattpad but once you have coins in your wallet, you will be able to unlock stories on the web. Learn more about purchasing coins here.

The new program operates using a new virtual currency specific to Wattpad, "Coins." Readers can buy packs of Coins for between $0.99 and $7.99, and can then spend the Coins to purchase participating Wattpad Next (beta) stories, either chapter by chapter, or as a complete story.

Paid Stories is meant to give readers a new way to support their favorite writers. The Coins will help give writers the independence to spend more time working on their next story so it can get to you that much faster.

Overall, I feel Wattpad can be a great resource for up-and-coming authors looking to hone their craft. If you want to get feedback and grow as an author, Wattpad can be the place to do that. It also allows you to connect with relevant writers and find fans for your work.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store. Under "Add payment method", select the payment method you want to add. The new payment method will be added to your Google Account. Note: If you're using Google Pay in India as a payment method, you'll need to update your UPI ID.

Those books need to be purchased before you can read, but most of the books are free, and you can start reading immediately. Once you have selected what you want to read, tap on the icon and then on the Read button. This will bring you straight away to the first page of the free eBook, and you can start reading.
You can read on Incognito or Private Mode, whatever the browser you use calls it. You will still see the login suggestion after some time, but you can always copy the link of where you're at, close all incognito windows, reopen a new incognito window, and you can continue without disruptions!
