How do I enable text messages to receive my landline?
Incoming text messages are lost into the void, as they cannot be delivered to a standard landline phone. Physical landline phones have no way to receive and display the text messages. You are unable to text from a landline number without a text messaging service on which to view and send messages.
You can send a text message to a landline the same way you'd send a message to a mobile number. From the text messaging screen of your mobile device, enter the recipient's 10-digit phone number in the To field, as you would with a regular text message. Then create your message and send it.
