Is Ranni a good ending?
Elden Ring has six endings, and Ranni's Age of Stars is the only true “good” ending, as it leaves The Lands Between better than it was found. Elden Ring has six endings, and Ranni's Age of Stars is the only true “good” ending, morally speaking.
If players do agree to serve Ranni, they will begin one of the most complex questlines in the game and even potentially change the ending. When players agree to serve the witch, she will task them with finding the hidden treasure of Nokron.
The Fingers and Ranni are in direct opposition, but neither one is “good” or “evil”; the former seeks to maintain the status quo (quite like keeping the Flame alight in Dark Souls' ending), while the latter wants something brand new for everyone who's suffering as a result of said status quo.
Instead of touching the item that leads to the Elden Lord ending, use that sign to summon Ranni - and that gives you the Age of the Stars ending. In this ending, Ranni ushers in a new age governed by the moon, apparently sweeping away the Golden Order and its rule over The Lands Between.
However, if you'd like to take this further and betray Ranni the Witch, you can do so. Wait a little while then obtain the Amber Draught from Preceptor Seluvis and administer it to Ranni the Witch.
At the very end of the game, after defeating the final boss, if you've completed all of the previous steps in this questline you'll have the ability to summon Ranni using a summon sign on the ground.
Should You Serve Ranni the Witch? Ranni will ask you to serve her once you reach her. There are no negative consequences to saying yes - only boons, such as more story questlines and unique rewards. You must complete Ranni's questline to continue Fia's Questline, which unlocks yet another unique ending as well.
Julianna Swickard of CBR also debated whether Ranni was good or evil, arriving at the conclusion that while she was morally grey as a character, her ending was the "best possible outcome" of all the game's endings.
Quite simply, players that accept rebirth will be instructed to reassign their levels from "square one." This means that the character's level and attribute points will be reset to what they were at the start of the game, and fans must reallocate their points until they are back at their current level.
Right now, in a pre- Elden Ring DLC world, Starscourge Radahn and Malenia, Blade of Miquella are tied for the title of “strongest demigod.” While neither boss has anywhere near as much health as Rykard, various in-game mechanics and bits of lore clearly suggest that those two are at the top of the demigod food chain.
Is Ranni immortal?
Ranni stole the Rune of Death from Maliketh and killed her immortal body. As a result, Godwyn became the one of Those Who Live in Death , whose soul have already perished while the body is still alive.
Radagon is a major antagonist of the 2022 video game, Elden Ring. He is the male half of Marika and the protector of the Elden Ring.

But the Two Fingers had placed a curse on Blaidd - if Ranni ever abandoned her destiny, Blaidd would lose himself, becoming bloodthirsty with an uncontrollable urge to kill. He would go feral.
You'll actually meet Ranni for the first time — calling herself Renna — when you visit the Church of Elleh in Limgrave after collecting your spectral steed. At that point, she'll give you the Spirit Calling Bell and the Lone Wolf Ashes, but she'll disappear for quite a while until you happen upon her again in Liurnia.
In the frenzied flames ending, it seems Ranni and Melina are back to being one person again and have both of their eyes open. There is also some evidence to indicate they are not the same person, for example Ranni's tattoo is that of the death curse symbol.
I'll refrain from revealing anything significant, but be warned that Ranni's quest can affect Elden Ring's ending. Simply completing the quest won't lock you into anything, though. Without getting into too much detail, there are three possible major endings in Elden Ring.
After working through the manor, players should continue west, enter Ranni's Rise, and initiate Ranni's questline in Elden Ring. Fans should also stop by Seluvis's Rise, which is just southeast of Ranni's, to start another questline.
If you want to learn the lore behind the Elden Ring's shattering, don't speak with Ranni the witch before talking to Rogier again, or he'll die before the quest finishes. There is no benefit we've yet found to keeping Rogier alive aside from the lore, though.
You can fight Glintstone Dragon Adula if you want, or you can run past her. There will be a hole inside the cathedral that you'll need to drop down through. At the bottom of the hole, you'll find Ranni's body and a prompt to use the Dark Moon Ring.
The only way to save Melina in the Elden Ring is to turn against her. Once Melina dies, there is no way to bring her back to life. If the player accepts the Three Fingers, they will be at odds with Melina.
Is ranni the witch a demigod?
8/9 Ranni The Witch
Prior to the game, she was the Lunar Princess Ranni, a key member of Marika's dynasty and an Empyrean – one of the three demigods marked as a potential successor to Marika.
Ranni wants you to find the treasure of Nokron, Eternal City and bring it back to her. Here, she will tell you to meet up with another of her associates and explore the underground Siofra Well.
Ranni's final location is deep down in the Cathedral of Manus Celes in Moonlight Altar. This area is available after defeating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. To fight the boss, go to the Baleful Shadow location, then walk forward to reach the Lake of Rot. There are many small pillars scattered around.
Ranni the Witch is regarded as the most intelligent of all the Demigods in Elden Ring. She is a master of lunar sorceries, and her power with magic is unmatched in The Lands Between. All this information is easy to get about Ranni, as long as we talk to her and a few other NPCs.
The entrapment of her soul into the four-limbed doll is entirely due to her own actions and her attempts to overthrow the Golden Order and the Greater Will. While her Age of Stars ending can still be up to interpretation, she appears to be a force for good.
Betraying Ranni
Giving it to her will cause Seluvis's death. Locating Seluvis's hidden chambers in the ruins outside of Ranni's Rise and interacting with the message within will allow you to ask Seluvis about the chamber. It is hidden beneath an illusory floor.
Malenia, Blade Of Miquella
Malenia may not be the gigantic beast that Starscourge Radahn is, but she's still generally considered to be the hardest boss in Elden Ring.
- Maliketh, the Black Blade (Crumbling Farum Azula)
- Sir Gideon Ofnir, The All-Knowing (Leyndell)
- Godfrey, First Elden Lord / Hoarah Loux, Warrior (two phase fight, Leyndell)
- Radagon of the Golden Order (Leyndell)
- Elden Beast (immediately follows Radagon)
Unlike Radagon, the Elden Beast has no particular weaknesses, so any weapons without Holy damage and status effects will perform about the same.
Radahn was born the son of Radagon, a champion of the Erdtree, and Queen Rennala, ruler of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. He had at least two siblings, Lunar Princess Ranni and Praetor Rykard.
Is Ranni the daughter of?
Lunar Princess Ranni is the daughter of Radagon, a champion of the Golden Order, and Queen Rennala, head of the Carian Royal Family of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Ranni had two siblings, Radahn and Rykard.
The goddess Marika originally came from the lands of the Numen. She was an Empyrean who ascended to godhood and became ruler of the Lands Between with the assistance of an Outer God: the Greater Will.
Ranni the Witch, also known as Renna, is a supporting character in the 2022 video game, Elden Ring. She also serves as the deuteragonist of her own quest line.
Type of Villain
General Radahn is cursed ever to wander. Eaten from the inside, by Malenia's scarlet rot, his Wits are long gone. Now he gathers the corpses of former friends and foes alike, gorging on them, like a dog.
Of course, players can leave him alive so that he "never dies" in their world, but the only way to receive his gear is to kill him during this final event. Players who defeat Blaidd get almost all of the pieces to his armor set - the only piece not found on his body is his headpiece.
You can either choose to let him out or keep him in the evergaol; he will escape on his own if you don't let him out, so the choice is ultimately meaningless. After this, you'll need to finish Ranni's questline before you can finish Blaidd's.
After defeating Starscourge Radahn players will find themselves in an area with Blaidd, Alexander, and others all reminiscing about the fight. Here, you can progress both Blaidd and Alexander's questlines and can get some valuable lore information from other nearby NPCs like Jerren.
Throughout the game, Melina will keep one eye closed. So too does Ranni the Snow Witch, and they each have a different eye closed. Melina will open her eye and reveal a dusky and murky dark blue, which many connect to the Gloam-Eyed Queen, under certain constants in the Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending.
Normally, this requires the sacrifice of a maiden, but if you inherit the Frenzied Flame you can spare Melina and burn the Erdtree yourself. Melina doesn't take too kindly to this gesture, though, and threatens to kill you upon resting at a Site of Grace after meeting the Three Fingers.
She also shows that she's not afraid of death as she willingly sacrifices herself to allow the player to advance and become Elden Lord.
Which is the best ending Elden Ring?
1. Age of the Stars. The Age of Stars is the best possible ending the player can get in Elden Ring. In it, you help Ranni replace Marika as the Goddess, and in turn, the player becomes the Elden Lord of this new Order.
Following Ranni's questline is absolutely vital if you want to fight one optional boss, and will put you on the right path for another one. When you first approach Ranni's Rise, you'll have to square off against Glintstone Dragon Adula, but the beast mysteriously disappears about halfway through the fight.

The Frenzied Flame ending is probably the strangest one that Elden Ring has to offer. It's also the most difficult to trigger. Your maiden, Melina, will actually abandon you if you pursue the Frenzied Flame ending, just to give you an idea of how far off the beaten path you'll have to go.
There are some important caveats about the timing of Seluvis' quest, though, and if you see his quest through completely, you'll even be barred from one of Elden Ring's major endings Completing it is entirely optional, though if nothing else, it's worth visiting Seluvis after speaking to Ranni so you can buy a few ...
