Program Duration:

5-day fully-funded conference in Berlin, Germany / 6-month remote program.

The Westerwelle Young Founders Programme 2023 offers the following benefits to participants:

• Participation in a two-day digital Kick-off conference in the first week of September.
• Six months of full support, including a personal mentor, alumni buddy, monthly peer mentoring sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
• Opportunities to connect with investors and corporates.
• Invitation for the top ten participants to attend a fully-funded international conference in Germany for five days, where they can pitch their ideas to investors, join networks, and gain insights into Germany’s start-up scene.

To be eligible for the Westerwelle Young Founders Programme, an individual must meet the following criteria:

• They must have started a for-profit company within the past five years
• The company must focus on developing or emerging markets
• The business must have a successful model for generating revenue or have secured its first round of external funding
• The company must have a positive impact on its market
• The participant must have a proficient level of English
• They must be able to attend conferences and events for a period of six months during the fellowship.
