A clean cut makes for a healthier orchid. While the orchid is still blooming, cut back the flowers that are fading. Removing the orchid blooms that have finished will not only keep your plant looking neat but will increase its vitality. Make a clean, even cut directly back to the main branch.

Overall, trimming orchid leaves is not necessary for proper growth. Any cuts in the plant are open to infection and, therefore, should be avoided. However, if your orchid has been infected by fungal or bacterial diseases, trimming off affected leaves may help to save the plant.

TIP: If you don't trim the flower spike, the Phalaenopsis may continue to flower from the tip of the flower stalk, but the flower stalk will become longer. There will be fewer, smaller flowers. To give the orchid a fresh, strong start, trim the flower stalk 2 nodes up from the base, or at the base.

To earn more Flowers and increase your Flower level, you must improve Orchid Island. Build or upgrade buildings, decorate with decorations, or renovate landmarks to earn the Flowers you need to unlock the scene.

Five Levels, plus an Adventure Scene, make up one Chapter and each Volume contains a different amount of levels. In order to level up the player has to gain a certain amount of flowers.
