In an effort to reduce packaging, Reynolds Kitchens® Cut-Rite® now has a slightly smaller carton because the core was removed. Reynolds Kitchens® Cut-Rite® Wax Paper has not changed and you still get 75sqft per roll.

Wax paper should not be directly exposed to the heat of an oven. However, Reynolds Kitchens® Cut-Rite® Wax Paper may be used as a pan liner when baking cakes, bread, muffins or any baked food in which the dough or batter completely covers the wax paper lining.

Wax paper is made by applying a coating of wax to a thin paper sheet, which makes it easy to remove foods from the paper with ease. Parchment paper has a non-stick coating produced through a special “parchmentizing” process. The way they’re made means that both are microwave safe, but only parchment paper is oven safe (up to 425F).
