What is the mixing ratio for Lesonal clear coat? ›

The clearcoat and hardener mix quickly, easily and smoothly, with a simple 100:100 ratio that reduces the chance of error.

The Lesonal Universal Clear is an acrylic urethane clearcoat for use over Lesonal Basecoat SB or Lesonal Basecoat WB and intended for applications in cross flow and air dry conditions.

An example of a mixing ratio would be 2:1 + 0%-5%, i.e. for every two parts of clearcoat add one part of hardener and between 0% and 5% of thinner (depending on the dilution requirements).

Regarding clear coating, wait for the paint to dry completely, which can take anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on the paint and environmental conditions. Apply 2-3 coats of clear coat, allowing 10-15 minutes of drying time between each coat.
