Travel insurance documents

We’ll email you within four hours from the time of the booking. If you’ve booked your flight more than four hours ago and have still not received an email from us about your travel insurance, simply call us on 0333 333 9637 or email easyJet.ins@collinsoninsurance.com, and we’ll be happy to re-send your policy documentation.

Cancelling travel insurance

After buying your policy you have 14 days to review it. If you haven’t claimed or commenced your travel and decided that you want to cancel you policy, all you need to do is contact us for a refund.


If you want to cancel as part of a flight change, go to Manage Bookings and click on Change flight.


From there you will be able to change your flight and also cancel your insurance.

If you do not agree with our final response or if we do not reply within eight weeks, you may refer your case to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS):

The FOS is an independent body that arbitrates on complaints about general insurance products and other financial services. It will only consider complaints after we have provided you with written confirmation that our internal complaints procedure has been exhausted. Please note that you have six months from the date of our final response in which to refer your complaints to the FOS. Your legal rights are not affected.

Alternatively, you may also have the right to refer your complaint to an Ombudsman in your country of residence or use the Online Dispute Resolution Service. Your legal rights will not lose their effectiveness.


Making a travel insurance claim

In the unfortunate event of making a claim on your travel insurance please visit easyjetclaims.com24/7 or contact our Claims team between 09:00 and 17:00 GMT, Monday to Friday: 0333 333 9653.


The Claims team deals with non-emergency claims such as loss of luggage, cancellation and personal possessions claims.
