At 1/10th the size of their classic E-mini counterparts, Micro E-mini futures make it easier for a broader universe of traders to discover the benefits of trading futures. Trading began May 6, 2019 with the launch of four index contracts:

  • S&P 500: Trade exposure to U.S. large-cap stocks, leading barometer of U.S. stock market
  • Russell 2000: Trade exposure to 2,000 U.S. small-cap stocks; leading small-cap benchmark
  • Nasdaq-100: Trade exposure to largest non-financial companies in the Nasdaq stock market
  • Dow Jones Industrial Average: Trade exposure to 30 U.S. blue-chip companies, widely followed indicator of U.S. stock market

These four contracts join our existing offering of Micro E-mini futures contracts for
gold (MGC) and the following currency pairs:

Introducing Micro E-mini options on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 indices. Add the flexibility and limited downside risk of options in a smaller notional size that requires less margin and premium to trade.

These options settle into Micro E-mini futures, which are 1/10th the size of E-mini futures and offer the access to the same underlying market. The smaller size enables you to fine-tune your index exposure for greater control over the risk/reward ratio of your investment.

Eurodollar Packs allow you to simultaneously buy or sell an equally weighted, consecutive series of four Eurodollar futures contracts. There are always 37 Packs listed for trading at a given time, designated by a color code that corresponds to their position on the yield curve.

Eurodollar Bundles allow you to simultaneously buy or sell consecutive series of Eurodollar futures in equal proportions, typically beginning with the front quarterly contract. This means that a 5-year “strip” comprised of 20 individual contracts can be executed with just one transaction.
