Ebates is a cash back shopping website that pays customers cash back for every purchase made through the website. You can choose to be paid by check or PayPal.
When someone clicks on a store through the site, Ebates gets a commission. Ebates then shares half of the commission with the buyer through cash back that can be paid to you by a check or PayPal.

Even though TopCashBack has a better commission rate, I usually start with Ebates. Then I compare TopCashBack to see which one offers me the most money.
How To Get the Most Cash Back Through Ebates
Not only does Ebates pay cash back, but the site also provides deals and coupon codes. It’s also pretty great that you can use your own codes and deals you’ve found. Here are 4 more ways to save big with Ebates.
1. Check the site often
Each store offers a different percentage of cash back and it changes regularly so it’s worth it to check the Ebates website often.
Ebates allows you to keep track of your favorite stores which makes it easier for you to see the best deals.
Since I’m usually more concerned about saving the most amount of money, I like to filter by cash back amount. You can do this by picking your category, then using the filter to see which stores in your category are offering the most cash back.
2. Shop at the right times
I personally find it best to check Ebates before making any online purchase, even Amazon. So I’d say every day is the best time to shop Ebates.
However, the holidays in particular are a great time to save money shopping online with Ebates. Why? Stores offer tons of great deals online through the holidays and they use sites like Ebates to help spread the word.
3. Shop Ebates in Stores
Ebates now allows you to link your credit or debit card to the site to get cash back on in store offers. I love this because you can link your card for the deal and not worry about pulling up an app to get the cash back.
This works a lot like the Dosh App that I love so much.
