The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (2024)

Since Realtors would seemingly rather talk about real estate than eat food, drink water, or pretty much any other activity normal people enjoy, the surge in popularity of real estate podcasts makes perfect sense. Sure, they can’t actually talk back to a podcast (though let’s face it, many of us do just that 😄), but agents can at least listen to people talking about real estate.

There’s only one problem—there are a gazillion-and-one real estate podcasts out there to choose from. To help you cut through the noise and find the true podcasting gems, we put together this list of the best real estate podcasts of 2023.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (1)1. The Real Word

Hosts: Byron Lazine and Nicole White

Best for: Insightful hot takes on trending real estate industry headlines from Byron, Nicole, and special guests like Tom Ferry

Why I love it: Launched in April 2022, The Real Word is my new favorite real estate podcast and it’s not even close. Instead of droning on and on for an hour+ every week, former Inman podcasters Byron Lazine and Nicole White dish out quick hit hot takes on three trending real estate headlines—fast. Their typical episode clocks in at around half an hour, but others like their recent millennial branding chat with Tom Ferry are a breezy fifteen minutes. Don’t worry though; this isn’t CNN. Byron and Nicole have enough charm and gravitas to actually get even the most jaded agent going in the morning.

If you’re a Realtor, or just want to keep your finger on the pulse of the industry, The Real Word should be your go-to morning listen. Think of it as a shot of real estate espresso—in a to-go cup.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (2)2. Eye on Real Estate With Dottie Herman

Host: Dottie Herman

Best for: No-bullsh*t real estate market analysis from one of the most successful CEOs in the industry

Why I love it: You don’t become the richest self-made woman in real estate by accident. Douglas Elliman CEO Dottie Herman not only claims that title, but has dedicated a surprising amount of her (incredibly) valuable time to help educate agents and the general public about real estate. As that label might imply, Dottie Herman has a gift for cutting through the BS and getting right to the heart of the issues that we’re facing in our industry today. Even better, if you happen to be in the New York area, you can tune in the old-fashioned way on AM970.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (3)3. 5AM Call

Hosts: Byron Lazine, Tom Toole, Lisa Chinatti, Sarah Desamours, Scott Kompa

Best for: Early morning motivation and accountability from Broke Agent Media contributors

Why I love it: In real estate, success is rented, not owned. And rent is due every morning. Want to start paying that rent tomorrow morning to build a sustainable career in real estate? Set an alarm for 5 am EST and tune in to 5AM Call. It’s one part mastermind group, one part Tony Robbins-style motivation, and one part actionable real estate advice. They even take live calls from agents who want to be more accountable.

Don’t want to wake up at the crack of dawn to listen? No sweat. Each morning’s episode is posted on iTunes so you can listen in the car on the way to your next showing or whenever you have time. Of course if you don’t tune in live at 5, you won’t be able to call into the show, and you won’t start your day at the same time as Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bezos, and the uber successful hosts of 5AM Call.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (4)4. The Massive Agent Podcast

Host: Dustin Brohm

Best for: Actionable real estate marketing and lead generation advice

Why I love it: Started by Salt Lake City Realtor Dustin Brohm, the Massive Agent Podcast serves up actionable real estate marketing and lead generation advice for agents who want to level up without the trial and error. Dustin offers agents a mix of high-level ideas and in-the-weeds execution that few podcasts can match.

Dustin also runs the Massive Agent Society, where he offers one-on-one personal coaching, mentoring, and training on something too many Realtors struggle with: Facebook advertising.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (5)5. The Tom Ferry Podcast Experience

Host: Tom Ferry

Best for: Interviews with niche real estate experts and Tom’s trademark blend of motivation and strategy

What more can we say about Tom Ferry that hasn’t been said? Over the past few years, Tom has managed to pull off a minor miracle and is now a household name (well, in real estate households, anyway) that is synonymous with top-shelf real estate coaching.

Why I love it: In his podcast, Tom doesn’t pull any punches. He gives you the same bite-size insights and takeaways you get from his YouTube channel and website. Expect to hear from top producers of all stripes, but especially top producers who are using novel tools and strategies to get ahead in 2023.

Hosts: Eric Simon and Matt Lionetti

Best for: Zero-bullsh*t interviews with real estate royalty that somehow manage to be both actionable and entertaining.

Why I love it: While most agents still only know the Broke Agent for the spicy memes, they have actually been quietly putting out the best real estate podcast online for a few years now. Hosted by Los Angeles Realtors and meme magicians Eric Simon and Matt Lionetti, the Over Ask podcast snags deep-dive interviews with some of the biggest names in real estate, like Ryan Serhant and TikTok superstar Glennda Baker.

Their secret sauce is blending a sort of DIY, punk-rock attitude with humor and industry insight to get their guests to open up and start talking about the things other podcasts are too afraid to get into.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (8)8. Real Estate Rockstars

Host: Aaron Amuchastegui

Best for: Deep-dive top-producer interviews in a format created by the OG of real estate podcasting

Why I love it: For many industry insiders, Pat Hiban is the Joe Rogan of real estate podcasting. With more than 4 million downloads and legions of fans not just across the country but around the world, it’s easy to see why. He was a super-early adopter of the technology and for most of us, Pat Hiban is synonymous with great podcasting.

Though his Real Estate Rockstars show is now hosted by Aaron Amuchastegui, it still manages to bring the thunder all these years later. With interviews with the best of the best in the real estate industry and deep dives into technology and strategy, Real Estate Rockstars is a must-listen for new agents and old agents alike in 2023. While there is a ton of content to dig through here, intrepid agents will be greatly rewarded by looking through the archives for interviews with big-time agents who hold nothing back.

Hosts: Tristan Ahumada, Jeff Pfitzer, and Nick Baldwin

Best for: A little bit of everything: motivation, actionable advice on lead generation and marketing, and interviews

Why I love it: From a humble Facebook group, LabCoat Agents has grown into a household name in the real estate industry. On their podcast, hosts Tristan Ahumada, Jeff Pfitzer, and Nick Baldwin go on deep dives with experts from real estate to marketing to basketball to bring you the inside scoop on how to become a better agent. Though they cover serious topics, they manage to inject humor and personality into the mix.

Host: Kevin Ward

Best for: High-octane training on the skills, strategies, and systems you need to build a lasting career in real estate.

Why I love it: If you find your energy flagging after a long day of selling houses, tuning in to Kevin Ward’s YES Talk is like a double shot of espresso. There are few people in the industry who can so easily tap into the excitement and energy that makes so many people fall in love with real estate in the first place. Kevin also manages to boil down sometimes complicated strategies and ideas into easy-to-remember concepts that will help keep you motivated and on your game through the hardest days.

Listen to YES Talk

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (11)11. Real Estate Coaching Radio

Hosts: Tim and Julie Harris

Best for: Training from industry-leading real estate coaches and bestselling authors Tim and Julie Harris.

Why I love it: While most real estate podcasts put out new shows once a week or even once a month, Tim and Julie Harris produce a new show every single weekday. It’s the perfect way to build a rhythm to your real estate training. You can get some learning time in on your commute home, or better yet, while you’re getting ready for your day in the morning.

If you want to get pumped up about actually living the dream of running your own successful real estate business, this is the place to start.

Why I love it: Carrot CEO Trevor Mauch’s podcast strikes a nice balance between content for investors and real estate agents who are looking to level up their tech game. He covers everything from search engine optimization (SEO) to web design to investment strategies to interviews with industry heavyweights like Tom Ferry. No matter what niche you’re working in real estate, chances are better than average that Trevor probably has a podcast episode that will be right up your alley.

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (15)15. Think Like a CEO

Hosts: Gary Keller and Jay Papasan

Best for: Pearls of wisdom from one of the most successful founders in real estate history

Why I love it: Although he may not post new episodes as often as the other podcasters on our list, we think Gary Keller’s back catalog of episodes speaks for itself. The advice that Gary dishes out here is not only insightful and based on decades of experience, but is delivered in his trademark style that actually resonates with agents. He can sometimes get a little high-level for some, but overall, hearing Gary talking about success on your headphones while you’re on the elliptical is a great way to get amped about crushing it at your next showing.

Listen to Think Like a CEO

The 16 Best Real Estate Podcasts (Training, Humor, Interviews & More) (16)16. Keeping It Real

Hosts: Greg Harrelson and Frank Klesitz

Best for: Deep-dive interviews with top producers

Why I love it: Real Geeks’ Keeping It Real podcast belongs on every agent’s must-listen list. Hosts Greg Harrelson and Frank Klesitz manage to cut away the nonsense and just get straight to the point with their top-producing agent guests.

The show’s bread and butter is interviewing agents with impossible-sounding but very real achievements. You’ll hear from agents who closed 54 deals in their first year and others who tripled their gross commission income. New episodes are somewhat sporadic, which means digging in their archives on Apple Podcasts or YouTube is a must.
