Tales of Arise Best Weapons and Armor - What You Need to Know
In Tales of Arise, your equipment makes a huge difference. Acquiring better weapons and armor as your progress through the game is crucial to your success, as they give you noticeable stat boosts. Finding better equipment is the fastest way to increase your party's effectiveness.
However, you can't just go ahead and craft the game's best weapons early on. Weapon crafting is a gradual process, in which you unlock new crafting opportunities as the main story progresses. As such, the best weapons can only be acquired towards the end of the game — or even beyond, in some cases.
Getting your hands on the best armor is pretty much the same deal, although you don't craft armor. Instead, you find it in treasure chests, or you're given it as a quest reward.
There are objective best weapons and armor in Tales of Arise — equipment that simply has better stats than anything else.
Weapons and Armor in New Game+
Once you complete the main story in Tales of Arise, you can use your clear data to start New Game+, which lets you play through the whole game again while carrying over all kinds of progress from your completed save.
All of your weapons and armor can be carried over into New Game+, but you'll need to find a specific Artifact in order to do that.

Tales of Arise - Devil's Arms
Devil's Arms are a recurring thing in Tales games, and they appear in Tales of Arise as well. The Devil's Arms are a unique set of weapons which can only be acquired once you've beaten the main story.
The Devil's Arms are the strongest weapons in the entire game — but there's a catch. The stats of each Devil's Arm weapon increases based on the number of enemies its character has defeated. Not with the Devil's Arm itself, but across the whole game.
As such, this guide does not contain information on the Devil's Arms. Instead, it focuses on the weapons with the best stats right off the bat.

Alphen - Best Weapon and Armor
This is the best equipment for Alphen.
Realm Unifier
Location: Must be crafted. Crafting for this weapon is only unlocked at the end of the game, and crafting can only be completed after completing the game and loading your clear data.
Materials Required:
- Iron Pipe - The 'Iron Pipe', which can only be found as part of the side quest 'The Mysterious Pair'. This quest can be found in Niez near the end of the game. It involves solving a riddle, and the answer is the Iron Pipe, which is found at the most northern part of Iglia Wastes, indicated by a glittering on the ground.
- Ominous Eyeball x4 - Dropped by Astral Sloth, found in Tarfhal Helgarahi.
- Cursed Claw x2 - Dropped by Astral Doubt, found in Tarfhal Helgarahi.
- Blistering Fang x5 - Dropped by Furious Boar, found in The Otherworld (only accessible after completing the main story and loading your clear data).
Heavenly Armor
Location: Found in a treasure chest in The Otherworld, Cavern of Fate Shallows (Destiny key required). This location is only available after completing the game, and loading your clear data save. Monochrome Spiral

Unyielding Braces
Location: Complete the side quest 'The Reminiscence Device', found in Daeq Faezol, Lower Level. This side quest only appears after completing the game, and loading your clear data. The enemies in this quest are level 90 and over, so be prepared!
Virtuous Wolf Vest
Location: Found in a treasure chest in The Otherworld, Oracle Snowcap Entrance (Abyss key required). This location is only available after completing the game, and loading your clear data save.
