How can I calculate my shoe size? ›

Stand up and make sure there is 3/8" or 1/2" (about the width of your finger) between your longest toe (usually the second toe) and the end of the shoe. You have about 0.5cm of free extra space in front of your big toe. Put on a pair of socks, put the shoes on and stand on tip-toe. There should be extra “functional” space, i.e. additional room for the toes that allows the foot to move naturally.

Tip #1: Shoes Should Hug Your Feet

So, if a boot or shoe comfortably hugs the ball of your foot and is also comfortably snug across the top of your foot, that means it fits properly. When shoes are snug in these areas, your feet are more likely to stay put throughout the day, keeping your feet properly positioned.

However, as per a general guideline, size 10 shoe typically accommodates feet that are approximately 10.6 inches (26.9 centimeters) in length. Keep in mind that this measurement is average and may vary for every individual.
