What does royal jelly contain?

Royal jelly contains multiple components. It is made up of water, around 11% carbohydrates, 13% protein, 5% fat and numerous minerals, trace elements and vitamins, mainly from group B. Royal jelly also contains amino acids such as aspartic acid and glutamic acid, as well as enzymes.

Royal jelly is generally used as an internal treatment, but can also be integrated in the formulations of cosmetics for use on the skin.

Royal jelly treatment: how to use it?

To benefit from the properties of royal jelly, Propolia advises you to carry out two course of treatments during the year, ideally in Autumn and before Spring. You can carry out a royal jelly treatment in different ways. You can find royal jelly in jars or in the form of vials to be diluted in water or fruit juice to ease its consumption. A royal jelly treatment shall last around one month.

Royal jelly can be conventional or organic. In both cases, royal jelly does not contain additives or water.

Choosing organic royal jelly allows you to benefit from a quality product, made respecting the specifications of organic apiculture, to fully benefit from the numerous properties of royal jelly.

To ensure that you choose a quality royal jelly, always check for the presence of an organic certification label on products, as well as the organic logo of the European Union represented by stars in the shape of a leaf on a green background, as well as the name of a certification body such as Ecocert or Bureau Veritas on the packaging. These certifications and labels effectively guarantee that the royal jelly has been produced and collected in accordance with precise and rigorous specifications.

Royal jelly is not recommended for people allergic to beehive products, bee stings, or people with asthma. To prevent the risk of allergy, we advise you to begin the treatment with weak doses and to progressively increase them. Royal jelly: how to take it?

Taking royal jelly is quite simple and can be taken several times depending on the product chosen. In generally, a treatment of 1 or 2 months at the maximum is recommended, with 500mg/day at the minimum up to 1g depending on needs.

It can be selected in fresh or lyophilised form, and combined with other hive products such as honey, for example.

Ideally, royal jelly should be taken in the morning before breakfast to benefit from its positive properties for vitality and energy throughout the day. Conservation of fresh royal jelly
