Rover
Rover is a traveling cat, and was often the first character players would interact with when traveling to their new town in previous Animal Crossing games.
It is not yet known if Rover only appears during the May Day Event, but seems to inhabit the special May Day islands that players can visit between May 1st and May 7th. It seems he will reward players for visiting the event island.
