Gameplay Tips[]
- Please note! The completion of
Poppin' Bottles (L11)of the Love story Item chain unlocks the Romantic Spot Area to work on. You DO NOT need to hand in the
Poppin' Bottles (L11) at the beginning. If you already have the
Itty Bitty Toes (L12), once you unlock the area, they will be removed from your inventory and placed in the Romantic Spot treehouse.
- Due to the special unlock requirement this area can be played at any time but it is not recommended to play it until at least after Pool House Patio to ensure your generators are sufficiently high and that you have enough space in your inventory (the Love Story chain takes a lot of room on the board)
- Romantic Spot is triggered by completing
A Romantic Gesture.
- Unlocking the Romantic Spot requires the
Poppin' Bottles (L11). It is recommended to defer working on the
Itty Bitty Toes (L12) task towards the end of the area, because you will get many
Family Locket (L5) as rewards for completing tasks in the area. These
Family Locket (L5) will help build up the
Poppin' Bottles (L11) towards the
Itty Bitty Toes (L12) needed to leave the area. Alternatively, you can of course use the
Ursula's Blue Card (L1) to upgrade your
Poppin' Bottles (L11) to the
Itty Bitty Toes (L12) immediately and save the time, space and energy. Note that further items from the
Family Locket (L5) are also required in the Conservatory.

Dialogue[]
After Task 3:
![]() | "What a cute little part of the estate!" |
![]() | "I wonder if it has any clues about what happened between Grandma and Grandpa?" |
![]() | "I'm going to ask Grandma to come here and help me out as I tidy up!" |
After Task 19:
![]() | "Well, here you go. This is the place my Michael first saw Becky!" |
![]() | "My parents first met by some flowers?" |
![]() | "That's right. Becky and her family were new in town, and I invited them here one afternoon." |
Ursula | "When little Mikey saw Becky, that was it! He was eight years old, and it was love at first sight." |
![]() | "He tried to give her some flowers, but she just wanted to play hide and seek!" |
Ursula | "It would be years and years until she felt the same way as him." |
![]() | "Tell me more!" |
After Task 28:
![]() | "Grandma, do you see this?! It says 'Becky loves Mikey' on it!" |
![]() | "My Mom must have carved it into the tree!" |
![]() | "She did. She and Michael used to love coming here together." |
![]() | "Really? Oh, Grandma, will you tell me about them? I... I'd love to know more about my parents." |
![]() | "Well, alright, but I need some time to gather my memories. This isn't easy to talk about, you know." |
After Task 38:
![]() | "This treehouse is just adorable. I can't wait to sit up there and read a book." |
![]() | "It's true, it's the perfect place to read a horror novel at night, dearie." |
![]() | "But it's more than that. It was a special place for Michael and Becky." |
![]() | "When they were just kids, they used to leave notes here for each other." |
![]() | "As the years went on, the notes got more and more romantic!" |
![]() | "Michael left Becky a note here that started his treasure hunt, and led to her finding the engagement ring!" |
![]() | "How lovely. It's nice to hear how happy they were!" |
![]() | "They were happy... most of the time..." |
After Task 41:
![]() | "What's the matter, Grandma? Why do you look so sad?" |
Ursula | "It's just that this is the spot where your parents broke up." |
![]() | "What?! My Mom and Dad broke up? When?" |
![]() | "Oh, long before you were born, don't worry! But it was a sad time." |
![]() | "Your mom got accepted into a good college... in Europe." |
![]() | "She, well, she didn't think they'd make it long distance, so she broke up with Michael." |
![]() | "I can't believe this! Why did she do it?" |
![]() | "Things were different back then. We didn't have the internet. No video calls, no emails." |
![]() | "What made them get back together?" |
After Task 64:
![]() | "Don't tell me someone used to drive this old thing? It's a wreck!" |
![]() | "True, but at one time, it was your father's pride and joy." |
![]() | "He restored it and took your mom out on their first date in this car!" |
![]() | "Your Grandpa Charlie wasn't happy. He thought something bad would happen in the car." |
![]() | "It turned out he should have worried about something else with those two." |
![]() | "What? Grandma, whatever did happen to my parents?" |
![]() | "This is why I don't like telling you family stories! I don't want to dredge up bad things from the past." |
![]() | "Okay, sorry Grandma. Tell me another happy story about them instead, please?" |
After Task 97:
![]() | "Well, Grandma? What made my mom and dad get back together?" |
![]() | "Funnily enough, it was this statue!" |
![]() | "What do you mean?" |
Ursula | "Your mom was visiting during her summer break about halfway through college." |
![]() | "She came to see Michael and brought him a little statue as a peace offering from Europe." |
![]() | "As soon as she saw him, though, she realized how much she'd missed him, and dropped the statue to kiss him!" |
![]() | "If you look closely, you can see the cracks from where Michael glued it back together." |
![]() | "She transferred to a local college, and they got right back on track." |
![]() | "That sounds so sweet! I wish I remembered them." |
![]() | They were sweet on each other, but they were both even sweeter on you, dearie." |
After Task 99:
![]() | "Thanks for asking me to come and help out here, Maddie" |
![]() | "It was nice to be reminded of all the good times with your parents." |
![]() | "I'm glad! Now that we've talked about the good times, can we talk about... the bad times?" |
![]() | "What, uh, what exactly happened to my parents?" |
![]() | "I really want to know, Grandma" |
![]() | "And I really don't want to talk about it, dearie!" |
![]() | "I do want to go and watch a horror film, though. Goodbye!" |
![]() | "Huh. She might not want to talk about it, but one day, I will find out what happened to my mom and dad!" |
