You may or may not know that you need to Trim Your Wick before lighting your candle. The reasons are very simple on why you should Trim Your Wick and I have listed out some important reasons below.

Keeping the candle wick trimmed helps control your flame height. Too big of a flame will cause the candle to burn to hot which isn’t safe for you, your space or your candle. Trim your wick before each burn to 1/8”, that’s pretty short but don’t be scared this is exactly where you want your wick height to be. You will see your flame is low and inside your candle vessel rather than above it. • Make sure your wick is always trimmed to between 1/8” – 3/16” before lighting. If the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick and the wick will extinguish.

• Be very careful not to let any debris from the wick into the candle
