Loaded with Maryland, USA-made 58/15 LT pickups, the S2 McCarty 594 has a warm, vintage-inspired tone.

The 594 Singlecut really does play and feel like a vintage instrument, but it was not designed with ergonomics in mind. For the best playing comfort, you will have to look to the Custom 24 or at least the double-cut version of the 594. The lack of the upper cutaway and thicker body result in a rather heavy guitar.
