Preparation Of Full Set Of Accounts/Financial Statements
- A full set of Accounts or Financial Statements for Enterprises & Companies comprise: [1] the Statement of Comprehensive Income, [2] the Statement of Financial Position, [3] the Statement of Cash Flow, [4] the Statement of Changes in Equity, and [5] the Explanatory Notes. These must be prepared and presented under the Companies Act 2016 and in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). Companies prepare financial statements for internal and external [publication] use. The seminar will discuss the recording, measurement, recognition, preparation, presentation, and disclosure of the financial statements for both purposes/uses, for single entity medium and small companies [excluding group structures].
- Upon completion of the program, learners will be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and skills in preparing and presenting the full set of accounts/financial statements in accordance with acceptable accounting standards, and existing law, in the context of the Malaysian Financial Reporting Environment.
