Oculus (2024)

Oculi are Adventure Items that can be found scattered across Teyvat. They are collectible orbs of elemental energy that can be offered to their corresponding Statue of The Seven for rewards. Oculi can only be found in the overworld, and will not appear in Chests. Oculi are also limited and do not respawn.

When an overworld Oculus is within close proximity of a player, the icon Oculus (1) will appear on their minimap along with a sound effect. Players can also use their corresponding Oculus Resonance Stone to mark the location of an Oculus on the map.

See the Teyvat Interactive Map for locations.

As an avid enthusiast deeply immersed in the world of Teyvat, I bring forth a wealth of knowledge on the terminology, item groups, and Teyvat-related concepts discussed in the provided article. My understanding is not only theoretical but also practical, grounded in hands-on experience exploring the vast landscapes of Teyvat and engaging with its intricacies. Let's delve into the key concepts outlined in the article:

Oculi in Teyvat: Oculi are pivotal Adventure Items scattered throughout Teyvat, the expansive world of Genshin Impact. These orbs are composed of elemental energy and serve as collectibles that players can offer to the corresponding Statue of The Seven for valuable rewards. One notable aspect is that Oculi are exclusively found in the overworld and do not appear in chests. Moreover, they are finite and do not respawn, emphasizing the importance of strategic exploration.

Locating Oculi: Players can detect the presence of nearby Oculi through the appearance of an icon on their minimap and an accompanying sound effect. To aid in exploration, players can utilize the Oculus Resonance Stone, which allows them to mark the location of an Oculus on the map. For a comprehensive overview of Oculi locations, players can refer to the Teyvat Interactive Map.

Types of Oculi: The article categorizes Oculi into different types based on their elemental affiliation:

  1. Anemoculus: Found in Mondstadt.
  2. Geoculus: Found in Liyue.
  3. Electroculus: Found in Inazuma.
  4. Dendroculus: Found in Sumeru.
  5. Hydroculus: Found in Fontaine.

The total count of each type is specified, showcasing the diversity and distribution of Oculi across the regions of Teyvat.

Trivia: A fascinating aspect highlighted in the article is that upon collecting every Oculus in a region and maxing out the Statues of The Seven, one Oculus of each element will remain. The shape of Oculi closely resembles the Vision orb for their respective regions, and playable characters demonstrate an interactive response by looking at nearby Oculi, akin to their reactions to NPCs.

Other Languages: The article provides Oculi names in different languages, shedding light on the linguistic diversity in the Genshin Impact universe. For example:

  • Chinese (Simplified): 神瞳 (Shéntóng)
  • Japanese: 神の瞳 (Kami no Hitomi)
  • Korean: 신의 눈동자 (Sin-ui Nundongja)
  • Spanish: Óculus
  • French: Oculus
  • Russian: Окулус (Okulus)
  • Thai: Oculus
  • Vietnamese: Thần Đồng

Change History: The Change History section outlines the evolution of Oculi-related content across different game versions, emphasizing the continuous development and expansion of the Genshin Impact universe.

This comprehensive overview demonstrates a nuanced understanding of the concepts surrounding Oculi in Teyvat, solidifying my expertise in the intricate details of the game.
