Genshin Impact has finally addressed game content during the extension of Genshin Impact Version 2.6, which ClutchPoints reported about here. Among the things announced through official HoYoverse accounts were that the Kamisato Ayaka banner “The Heron's Court” will be extended.

The in-game Wish banner countdown has updated to mirror this extension. However the “Time Remaining” section in the banner read 240 Days, prompting many memes about it.

For those waiting for Yelan (including me) or any of the banners that come with her, don't fret. Ayaka's countdown timer is only a placeholder, as it says on the announcement: “the countdown that appears on the interface of event wishes and and the Test Run event is not the definitive end date. Please refer to future announcements for the version update time.”

Despite the announcements, some of the confusion that the “240-day banner” has caused must have reached the developers. They have since promptly changed the cooldown on Ayaka's banner.

The end for Version 2.6 is still currently up in the air. Interested in pre-farming for the new 5-star character Yelan (Hydro Bow) and 4-star character character Kuki Shinobu (Electro Sword)? Check out the materials here and here.
