Metal Corset Grommets Two-Part Eyelets
Setting your own Two-Part Eyeletsis not difficult and it produces a better looking and stronger corset back than one that uses Grommet Tape. Our Metal Corset Grommets includetwo parts– the side with the post and the side with the collar. The post side sits on the right side of the garment and the post actually passes through the thickness of the cloth, while the collar sits on the inside of the garment. A corset usually requires 15-18 grommets per side (30-36 total).

The Two-Part Eyelets are sold by the gross (box of 144 complete grommets). Approximately 4 corsets can be made from each box.
The Metal Corset Grommets are available in 2 sizes. Size #00 is the standard smaller size grommet for regular corsets. Size #2 grommets are larger, our customers use this size for “Steampunk”, “Hobbit”, “Medieval”, or “Pirate” type corsets or costumes.
We offer our Grommets in your choice of 4 metal finishes, including the very hard to find Antique Bronze (perfect for your Steampunk outfits!). Size #00 finishes include Antique Bronze, Nickel, Gold, and Black. These finishes conveniently match our 4 Heavy Steel Corset Buskcolours. Now you can make a beautiful corset with a matching busk and grommets!

Uses:
We carry two different Grommet sizes. The size #00 is a smaller Grommet, this is the size mostly used for the back of a traditional corset. These Two-Part Eyelets are very strong when properly set. Size #2 is a larger Grommet, this can also be used at the back of corsets, but is used when a “Steampunk”, “Hobbit”, or “Pirate Wench” look is desired. Either Grommet size can be used anywhere that a lace-up closure or decorative detail is needed. These Grommets can also be used for all types of costuming.
