Why would ice melt faster in water rather than Milk or hersheys Syrup?

Ice will melt more quickly in water because water is less dense thaneither milk or Hersheys Syrup. (Milk is about 3% more dense thanregular water.) The reason that this matters is the same as for, a question that weve actually explained already.
