I began this blog in 2010 when I was looking to share my travels with the world. It was also a resource for those looking to move to Norway,my adopted home at the time. This blog focuses mostly on Scandinavia and the Nordics, the USA, Western Europe, and select other places that have inspired me around the world!
My mission is to help you plan your trip with my 100% human-made itineraries, transportation guides, tour recommendations, travel tips, and more! I have traveled to 100+ countries and 45 US states, and I am currently based in both Finland and Germany.
I have written for or been featured in National Geographic, the BBC, Forbes, Lonely Planet, Fodor’s Travel, The Guardian, and several other publications. I have also worked on tourism development projects with USAID, EU, GIZ, UNDP, and the Smithsonian Institute.
