DiabytesMaha Shivratri also called the "the Great Night of Shiva" marks the celebration of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati's marriage ceremony. The festival is celebrated each year on the 13th night and 14th day of the Hindu month Phalguna. This year Mahashivratri is on March 11.

Kumkum

Broken Rice

According to scriptures, Lord Shiva is offered Akshat or whole rice. If the rice is broken, it is considered incomplete and impure, and therefore not fit to be offered to Shiv Ji.
Conch

Kewda and Champa
