The Kunai is one of the ghost weapons used by Jin. It is unlocked by spending one technique point under the Ghost Weapons section of the Techniques menu.
High level Mongol enemies and Mongol Leaders found in random encounters will attempt to utilize these if Jin is in a hard to reach location (such as in deep water) but is in sight of them.

The Kunai is a small blade/throwing knife that staggers and kills enemies. [1]

, Jin will throw two (three by Hidden Blade technique) Kunai at nearby enemies.

Storage capacity for the Kunai can be upgraded at any Trapper throughout Tsushima. Rank IV becomes available in New Game+
