GeorgeSonja say they need to find out what's really going on. I say they have, to a wholly adequate degree. As a researcher, like my namesake in the series, I wouldn't be satisfied. But as a reader, I don't need an installment where Lucy is involved with clearing the way for the dear departed to fully depart, it's revealed what's on the other side of the Other Side, etc. Even tho she states she's been back there at least once more, so presumably at least the first those has happened. Not that I don't suppose Stroud could do so effectively, just that it's not screaming to be done. Nor do I think the romances need to be resolved. Despite a certain 19th-c. feel to them, these are not 19th-c. novels.
