What you will need

Step 1: Clean the broken ceramic vase

Ensure that your cracked vase is clean and free from any dirt, dust or grease and then dry. Carefully remove any crumbling parts from the areas to be bonded to help ensure a neat and seamless repair.

Step 2: Apply Bostik Fix & Glue

Place a drop of our ceramic glue, Fix & Glue, on the broken vase.

Tip

Bostik Fix & Glue is available in two formulas, gel and liquid. For vertical cracks we recommend using Fix & Glue Gel. For horizontal cracks we recommend using Fix & Glue Liquid.

Both types of Bostik Fix & Glue are ultra strong and powerful super glues designed for precise bonding on small surfaces.

Step 3: Assemble the cracked vase

Press the parts of your broken ceramic vase together and hold in position for a few seconds to form the initial bond.

Good to know

Our Fix & Glue super glues bond within 5 seconds, so if you get glue on your fingers, it won’t stick immediately.

Step 4: Let the glue set

We recommend leaving the glue to dry for approximately 24 hours to ensure an ultra strong, long-lasting bond. Once the 24 hours are up, you can fill your ceramic vase with water if required and use as normal.
