Reshape Raw Sola Wood Flowers

All you need is just a little bit of warm water! Use a bowl of warm water and place the flower in just enough to get it damp. You don't want your flower to be completely soaked, so a quick dip will do. You can also use a small spray bottle to moisten your flowers.

Air drying: Air drying is the most traditional method of drying flowers. To air-dry flowers, you bind a series of small bouquets and hang them upside down. This method takes two to four weeks to complete because it takes plenty of time for flowers to fully dry without some sort of accelerant.

(They will continue to open as they dry and may lose petals if fully mature.) In a shallow, microwave-safe container, gently cover the flowers in silica sand or an equal mixture of borax (sodium borate) and cornmeal. Add 1 teaspoon of dish detergent to help promote level dyeing. As a general guideline, one liquid bottle or two powder packages dyes up to two pounds of dry fabric.

Adding DAWN DISH SOAP to any paint including rit dye, acrylic, etc will not only bump up the saturation of the color on your flower, it smells heavenly and it has the same effect as glycerin! Your flowers will stay soft and plyable!
