Our body knows, better than we do, what it needs for healing. The healing journey is the process of learning how to trust our body, so we can access our body’s healing wisdom.

I’ve briefly discussed my training in kinesiology (muscle testing) and my regular use of energy testing in my own healing journey. Energy testing rests on the ancient knowledge that our body is constantly communicating with our environment, and we can tap into this communication to gain insight and information. Hi, Lauren, Thank you so much for this lovely video!

I use the “human pendulum” method of energy-checking my foods and supplements. (Standing with the supplement or food in front of me, I ask the same question you shared, and my body tilts towards the food if it’s a yes and away from it if it’s a no.) I find it very helpful, as well as reassuring, that I’m giving my body the best that I can. It helps me keep my system in harmonious balance by consuming the supplements and foods that best serve my health and well-being in the moment.

Because I’m not taking certain supplements (not pharmaceuticals) on auto-pilot, I save my body from having to expel them when it has too much or from feeling undernourished when it doesn’t have enough. In the long run, I stay healthier and am able to quickly identify needed resources if I’m on the verge of getting sick. Using this method and resting, I usually can prevent a cold within the first 24 hours of experiencing symptoms. And I probably spend half as much money on supplements by taking them only when my body needs and wants them.

I’m loving your site, and had such delight in making one of your recipes for my women’s group last week. Raves all around! Deep gratitude from Jeanine

Thanks for your comment! I’m glad you have a version of energy testing that works so well for you. I call that “sway testing” and but I like your phrase “human pendulum testing.” It’s not the most effective manner for me, which is an example of how different energy testing methods work for different people.

Hi. Isn’t Pendulum influenced by what we think, we know and our already inside beliefs ?
I did this test during my pregnancy.
I wished my third was a boy and all the signs , sickness were different than the first two girls, and I was having this inner feeling that it is a boy. I did the pendulum test and responded yes for a boy.
I did my scan and they said it is a girl.
From that moment I knew it was a girl pendulum test said yes for a girl and no for a boy.

Is it a certain type of crystal that should be used for energy testing or can it be any crystal? I have a few wrapped moonstone crystal necklaces would those work?

The type of crystal doesn’t matter, but it needs to be a symmetrical, evenly-weighted pendulum
