I just made a discovery that I had to share immediately!
I recently found a way to legitimately earn a pretty decent amount of money just by referring people to a program I already use.
You see, I signed up for the cash back shopping site, Ebates, a while back and started using it for cash rebates on planned purchases.
I knew they had a referral program, so I told my friends about it in my Facebook status, and a couple of them signed up…
I thought I was going to get $5 for each person I referred, and I was cool with that. But I just now found out that I actually got paid $50 cash for that!
I didn’t even realize they were running a promotion where you get $50 for every 2 friends you refer! Apparently, through New Year’s Day, January 1, 2014, you can get $50 for every two people you refer who sign up for Ebates.
Seeing as it’s free for everyone to sign up and you can actually save money by starting your online shopping sessions through their site and they pay you for referring other people, it’s a win-win-win for everyone involved!
Look for your Tell-A-Friend link in the dashboard after logging in.
Copy and paste your referral link onto Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media site you like and wait for the referral credits to roll in!
Anyone can sign up and refer others – this is not just something I can do because I’m a blogger. If you think you have two friends who would like to join, it wouldn’t hurt to sign up yourself and put out the referral link. It’s a huge bonus to being able to get rebates on purchases as well!
If you sign up using my referral link above, please let me know in the comments below! I’d love to hear how much credit you are then able to earn by sharing your link! Good luck!!
Important: In order to qualify for the additional $40 incentive for 2 referrals, those two people must make at least ONE $25 purchase during the referral period. After the bonus referral period ends on January 1st, you can still get the original $5 bonus if they make a purchase within a year of signing up. Sounds like a fair deal if you ask me!
If you’re wondering what it looks like to earn the first $50 in referral credits, here’s a snapshot of my dashboard:
The standard cash bonus of $5 per referral is above, then the additional $40 for referring the two within the referral period shows up below. I think the delay in dates is caused by Ebates manually reviewing the referrals to ensure they are legit.
So there you have it, my newest way to make money fast, on Facebook, of all places!
Do you have an favorite quick ways to make extra cash? Please share!

Full Disclosure: If you use my referral link to ebates above, I will receive compensation (referral credit) for sending you there.
